Sears reports 2Q loss
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (AP) — Sears Holdings Corp. on Thursday reported a loss of $251 million in its fiscal second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Hoffman Estates, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of $2.34. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.16 per share.
The department store operator posted revenue of $4.37 billion in the period.
Sears shares have dropped almost 8 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 46 percent in the last 12 months.
